#2565 Broken python-ldap API for LDAP effective rights in F-17

Closed: Fixed None Opened 12 years ago by mkosek.

python-ldap's ldap.controls.simple.GetEffectiveRightsControl object should be used in new python-ldap-2.4.6-2.fc17.x86_64 instead of ldap.controls.LDAPControl to retrieve effective rights for the bind DN.

How to test:

Run the following command with both python-ldap 2.3.x and python-ldap 2.4.x versions. After the fix, both runs should succeed.

# ipa user-show admin --all --rights
