authconfig in el5 doesn't have sssd support so we can't easily configure the nss and pam stacks to use sssd.
Stephen had the idea of relocating authconfig 6.x into the ipaclient library, basically a local copy of the newer authconfig. If we use that we may be able to configure sssd successfully.
Rename component.
It is too late in RHEL-5 cycle to do changes like this one. Closing the ticket as wontfix.
