ipa host-zone-find It will enumerate all of the zones currently used by hosts. It can take a switch which will merge in the zones from DNS that do not have Any hosts. I think that this will make people happy, as it will cleanly support the use cases for external DNS. For exmpale, a Fedora IPA instance used primarily fro freeipa, where freeipa is a DNS managed zone, but most of the hosts are:
fedorapeople.org fedorahosted.org fedoraproject.org pki.fedoraproject.org test.fedoraproject.org
Each time a host is added to one of the above zones, IPA will 'remember' it. It is something we could do completely in the web layer, but I think it makes sense to centralize the business logic for
it.
