It would be nice to be able to link users and their personal computers in the system. That would allow creating better user experience and reduce management burden. For example an automatic HBAC rule can be created when a host is associated with the user allowing simple access control policies for users against their Laptops/Desktops.
The coupling of the laptop to the user would also allow the host to perform some delegated operations on behalf of user if needed.
It may make sense to use the owner information on a machine to grant some sudo rules for the owner.
