0.3.7.2 was tagged in git - https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/fpaste.git/tag/?id=0.3.7.2 - tarballed and released, but it still identifies itself as 0.3.7.1:
[adamw@adam fpaste-0.3.7.2 (f19 %)]$ fpaste --version fpaste 0.3.7.1 [adamw@adam fpaste-0.3.7.2 (f19 %)]$ rpm -q fpaste fpaste-0.3.7.2-1.fc21.noarch
this is because there was no commit to bump the version number stored in the executable ('fpaste'), the CHANGELOG file, or docs/man/en/fpaste.1 . Compare this commit for 0.3.7.1:
https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/fpaste.git/commit/?id=91ce04e0f431ab5a5e3e2dd0652ae96d50dd4441
it may be worth doing a 0.3.7.2.1 or 0.3.7.3 release to clear up any confusion.
Hi Adam,
I've fixed this in https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/fpaste.git/commit/?id=0f32d7c98a95f26e6ec56d34c0cf9f1722fceeb0
Do you think this merits an update to the Fedora stable branches, or should I wait for other fixes - it's only a cosmetic change? I'll build for rawhide later today.
