revise for wikitcms changes to nightly, fix some bugs
    
    This big change mainly adjusts for the corresponding large
    change to how nightly composes are handled in wikitcms - see
    wikitcms commit 98923b0c. There are also a few bug fixes
    that cropped up in testing; a couple of sort problems in
    testcase-stats, and some changes to report-results. After I
    added current compose detection to report-results I didn't
    really test passing compose version in from the command line
    much, and in testing the nightly compose changes noticed
    several issues there, so I changed the handling around a bit
    and it works better now.
