removing branding from bookmark bar; making topbar branding more mobile-friendly
    - branding was placed in bookmark bar to make the site more mobile-friendly
    - i think maximizing bookmark real estate for desktop users is important tho
      which means removing the branding from the bar (plus the branding shouldn't
      go below the search and personal menu + private messaging)
    - i used the bootstrap xs class to make the branding collapse nicely with
      the personal menu and private messaging areas on the topbar in
      mobile situations
