As there is no way to do module scratch builds in the Fedora infrastructure, doing local builds is the only way to test changes. This allows testing if build dependencies are correct, but testing runtime dependencies is impossible. ‘mbs-build local’ builds all components and puts them in a results directory. What’s missing is filtering the binary packages per modulemd file.
The only way to test that atm. is to submit a koji build and then wait for a compose that also runs repoclosure. It would be quite useful to get a repo from ‘mbs-build local’ that has only the packages that are really being shipped.
