The speed up development, allowing to skip the %check section n rpms would save a ton of time. This can easily be done by adding %check exit 0 to macros.modules. As an example: libtool takes >25min with tests, <1min without.

Ah, you mean to disable that for local builds even when building from the dist-git. I see.
