#77 [Talk] Power up minishift using Fedora
Closed 5 years ago Opened 5 years ago by kumarpraveen.

Abstract

Container technologies are evolving as we are moving forward, 2 years back it all about Docker but now we have podman, buildah, cri-o etc.

As part of minishift [0] project, we want our users to play out those latest container technologies and provide feedback, build top on it etc. and Fedora is best suited for this. we are consuming fedora[1] as alternative iso for it.

Who are you?

This sounds interesting, but for the Flock audience I'd like to see more of a project-focused angle rather than the end-user one. Can you talk more about the Minishift Fedora ISO?

Can you talk more about the Minishift Fedora ISO?

Sure, I can talk more around that as of now we already have created a change request for getting it part of pungi configs.

Perfect. If that (and in general, making Fedora better for minishift and helping bring in users that way) can be the focus of the talk, I'm all for it.

@kumarpraveen The CfP committee would like to see the abstract updated to reflect the Fedora angle.

@bex I updated the abstract bit oriented from fedora side, I hope that it will help CFP committee to decide about this talk.

I regret that we are unable to accept this talk this year. There will be lightning talk sessions and I encourage you to consider this option.
