CfP Submission for Nest with Fedora 2022 is now open

= Instructions =

Please title your issue as follows: [SESSION TYPE] Gaming on Fedora Silverblue is FUN!
Fill out the issue answering the questions.

Note: You do not need to include the year of the Flock/Nest or the words "flock/nest proposal" in the issue title unless they are the title of your talk/hackfest.

Type should be one of the following:
• [Talk-25]: 25 Minute Talk

Please note if you think your session would be best live or pre-recorded.
Leave the issue public.
Solicit and consider feedback. Don't assume people will just come to this repo - actively solicit feedback!

If you want to make changes, just edit the initial comment.
That is what the CfP committee will read.

Submissions will be considered in rounds.
Submissions not selected in one round continue to the next one.
Therefore you can keep on iterating :)
Round 1 selection starts on: July 8th
Round 2 selection starts on: July 15th

+1, would be interested in that session :-)

thx for your support :)

I like the idea, but it seems like it might be more suited to a Release Party or other user-facing audience. What's the angle for contributors?

Well, then let us keep the idea for a Release Party?
Angle of contributors - like how to improve SB for gaming, implementations etc

So, I am really open up to post pone it to F37 Release Party?

I like the "how to improve Silverblue for gaming" approach. If you can make that work, that would be a great Nest talk (and I wouldn't expect it to be the whole talk necessarily. 1/3 "here's what it's like now", 2/3 "here's how we could make it better" could be a good mix)

I fully agree to your suggestion and I can make that way to structure my talk :)
Thx for your help @bcotton

Thank you for your submission and congratulations! Your proposed session has been accepted for Nest with Fedora.

I need to add you (and any additional speakers) as a speaker for the event and moderator for your session. We encourage speakers to personalize their title and avatar for their Hopin profile.

https://hopin.com/events/nest-with-fedora-2022

Please review the following guidance on using Hopin as a speaker and leave a comment if you have any questions.

On the day of your presentation, login to the event through the link above and go to the "Sessions" tab on the left hand side of the page. Your session will be visible under the "Sessions" tab for 10 minutes before and after the scheduled time. Click on your session and you should have full rights to moderate and present. Click on the "Share Audio & Video" button. Once you see yourself on screen, you're live to the audience.

You may want attendees to join you on screen to ask questions or interact. If so, you can see attendees asking to join at the bottom of the video in the Moderator Panel. You get to choose who comes up on screen with you there by clicking the "+" button on each request.

While unlikely, if you run into any technical difficulties during your session, please write in the Hopin chat what your issue is and message me through Hopins direct messaging feature. Another admin or myself should be able to resolve your issue within a few minutes. You can also take a look at Hopins Knowledge Center if you have questions about how the platform works or have any issues.
