What is your proposal? Tell your Fedora Story: Fedora Week of Diversity - is a session to gather content for the first Fedora Week of Diversity coming this Fall. This session will be a chance for folks to drop by and tell their Fedora stories. We have developed prompts and we are going to reuse the script that is in the Flock Budapest video. We are working on getting a "FWD contributor" badge made as well to help promote the session, which will be used for FWD contributions overall (not just for Nest).
We checked in with the podcast team as well, and they are interested in participating with the interview/chat aspect, and helping us produce the content for the week of FWD.
Be specific about what you want to accomplish, how this helps the project and the attendees. Review the CFP call (https://flocktofedora.org/#cfp) for details on what we are looking for. We want to gather video/audio bits of the Fedora community talking about their Fedora stories. How they got involved, why they stayed, how their mentor helped them, etc. These stories will be edited and made into a video (series?) that we will publish during the Fedora Week of Diversity. We feel that gathering our contributors stories is an authentic way to display Fedora's diversity.
