#319 [Lightning] Using cmake for RPM packaging
Closed: Talk Not Scheduled 2 years ago by riecatnor. Opened 2 years ago by anel.

What is your proposal?

The motivation for the talk is the ongoing project MDEV-22552 for creating the mytop package for RPM in MariaDB. As a first time contributor to RPM packaging, I aim to show how to use cmake commands to successfully create the package. Contributions from the audience are welcome before merging the patch to upstream.
At the end, basic examples of using cmake will be presented and briefly analyzed.

Who in addition to the speaker needs to be in the virtual room for this to succeed?

Anyone looking into first steps with cmake and RPM packaging.

List each person by their name and FAS ID, as shown below:

Anel Husaković [anel]

Is this a…

10-15 minute Lightning talk

Anything else we need to know?

I would like to pre-record the session.

Who are you?

Name: Anel Husaković
FAS ID: anel

Timezone: UTC+2
Availability for August 5-8th: August 5-6

Hi @anel - Thank you for submission! Unfortunately we did not receive enough lightning talk submissions to create a session. The review team did comment they thought this could a cool "how-to" video to put up on the Fedora Youtube. If you want to do that, you can submit the idea and get assistance putting the video up through the Mindshare Committee pagure repo here: https://pagure.io/mindshare/issues

We still hope you join us at Nest with Fedora, registration here:
