#220 [Hack-half] Fedora and the future of Free Science
Closed: Resolved 5 years ago by riecatnor. Opened 5 years ago by ankursinha.

  1. What is your proposal?
    Quite a few Fedora community members have indicated that they are interested in getting together at Flock to discuss how Fedora can help science. The hackathon will bring us all together to discuss short and long term plans.

  2. Who in addition to the speaker needs to be in the room for this to succeed? This could be the audience you need to reach, other participants in the conversation, or other stakeholders.
    List each person by their name and FAS ID, as shown below:
    * @ignatenkobrain: Igor Gnatenko
    * @zbyszek : Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek
    * @lbazan : Luis Enrique Bazán De León,
    * @pac23 : Manas Mangaonkar
    * @nitsharma : Nitish Sharma
    * @yulytas : Julita Inca Chiroque
    * @mhough : Morgan Hough

  3. Is this a…
    * FAD/Hackfest that lasts a half-day

  4. Anything else we need to know?
    A whiteboard is pretty much all we need.

  5. Who are you?
    Name: Ankur Sinha "FranciscoD".
    FAS ID: @ankursinha
    * IRC Nick, if not FAS ID: FranciscoD

Sounds good. I'll be there.

Sure, I would go if possible.

Please add me too. Thanks

If time permits, I can attend to see how the Python SIG can help, as Python is very popular in the science field. Not sure I can dedicate half a day for this.

+1.
I love attend this. I am working for not Neuroscience, but Bioscience.
