#142 [Talk-50] Leveraging Fedora Silverblue Community for Growth
Closed: Resolved 4 years ago by riecatnor. Opened 4 years ago by saurabhthakre.

  1. What is your proposal?
The talk is about how we can leverage Fedora Silverblue community and what are the best practices that we can inherit to grow the community locally to all the corners of the world. Mostly its going to be a discussion and focusing on involving students into the community.

  2. Who in addition to the speaker needs to be in the room for this to succeed? This could be the audience you need to reach, other participants in the conversation, or other stakeholders.

  • Mindshare Committee.
  • Anybody who wants to listen and share there idea on this.
  1. Is this a…
    * 50 minutes: Talk

  2. Anything else we need to know?
    * A/V setup and a projector would be perfect.

  3. Who are you?

  • Name: Saurabh Thakre
  • FAS ID: saurabhthakre
  • IRC Nick, if not FAS ID: sthakre

I think this might be paired with #209, with that being a technical overview and this one about how we'll build up and grow the project community. Is that correct?

Yeah I mean I am fine with pairing this with #209 if everyone is okay from #209. It will be great.

@saurabhmarpadge and @mattdm what does "pairing" means in this context? Running these two talks after each other in two 50 min. slots or squeezing the two talks into one 50 minutes slot?

@tpopela From a scheduling and attention span perspective, squeezing the two into one 50-minute talk would be idea. :) Do you think that is reasonable or do you have more information to present than that? :)

I don't think that is a good idea Matthew, we should aim for 2x 50 minutes slots. 25 minutes is not enough, but maybe @eischmann has a different opinion.

If 25 minutes is what we get, then we'll have to work with it, but I'd like to have more for our talk. 25 minutes is basically a lightning talk with time for a couple of questions.

ok that's fine -- just wanted to be sure!
