Given that Flock is in Budapest in August this year, I intend to attend it (with or without having a talk/session accepted when the CFP opens). In spite of having a talk accepted last year, I was unable to obtain a Schengen visa in time, and was therefore unable to attend Flock.
I am to apply for a Schengen visa to attend this year's CNS conference in July. Would there be any information on Flock 2019 that I can attach to this application to request the authorities to give me a Schengen visa that's also valid through August so that I can attend Flock?
I understand that it is far too early to be able to make hotel bookings and take flight tickets, which are required to apply for a Schengen visa, but if any preliminary documentation can be submitted, it may convince the authorities to give me a multiple entry visa that would be valid for Flock also.

I agree with ankur. It normally takes 7-10 business days for processing Schengen visa. Also ticket prices are inversely proportional to number of days we have. Given that we have the venue and the dates fleshed out, i think doing a things little bit early would save us both money and time.
