Hello @munroesj52,
during our periodic check as per the "Inactive packagers policy" we detected no activity from you as a packager, nor in other Fedora community places, like Bodhi or mailing lists.
In order to reduce security risks from possible accounts hijacking we're trying to contact you to know if you're still reachable and if your email set in Fedora Account System (mun*@fedoraproject.org) is still valid.
Please, let us know if you're still intersted in participating in Fedora and if you still need your account to be listed in the packager group.
packager
Without any reply from you, in two months the packager group membership will be removed from your account and any package for which you are the main admin will be orphaned, so that co-maintainers can pick them up.
I am still interested in participating, but my packaging efforts will be infrequent.
I am retired and have only one project and one package PVECLIB https://github.com/open-power-sdk/pveclib/wiki. The goal being to simplify library/application developers' effort to exploit POWER (powerpc) vector facilities. It is very niche (PowerPCle arch with VMX/VSX and programmers willing to use vector intrinsics for performance gains).
The current PVECLIB 1.0.4-5 is stable. Mostly compiler -Werror cleanup and mandated package changes. The last update (for SPDX) caught me in the middle of a family health crisis, and I had problems reestablishing my credentials. My friend Tulio helped me out and committed the required change for me. So that created a gap in my packager record.
Seems I will have to relearn all the packager stuff. I am really more a PowerISA Vector programming expert (with a side gig in "why the heck did the compiler do that!").
In the interim I have been working on a major update for POWER10 (PowerISA 3.1B). With Vector Divide/Modulo Doubleword/Quadword changes I may be seeing the end of the tunnel?
This would likely be a version bump (1.0.5).
