during our periodic check as per the "Inactive packagers policy" we detected no activity from you as a packager, nor in other Fedora community places, like Bodhi or mailing lists.
In order to reduce security risks from possible accounts hijacking we're trying to contact you to know if you're still reachable and if your email set in Fedora Account System (aar****@fedoraproject.org) is still valid.
Please, let us know if you're still intersted in participating in Fedora and if you still need your account to be listed in the packager group.

Without any reply from you, in two months the packager group membership will be removed from your account and any package for which you are the main admin will be orphaned, so that co-maintainers can pick them up.
The following is a list of packages that may become orphan if the user @aarapov is removed from the packager group. Affected co-maintainers users and groups are provided as well:
Note that this is just an early warning for package co-maintainers/collaborators: the maintainer can still show up before the orphaning happen. Anyone who wants to become the maintainer of a package before it is orphaned can try to contact the current maintainer themselves or, if you really can't wait after the automatic orphaning, open a ticket to Fedora Releng.
Hello, @mattia. I remember handing over the dmidecode to @esyr; I haven't touched the package since then.
Hello, you're still listed as primary maintainer of dmidecode... @esyr doesn't appear to have commit access to the repo. There are also a couple of users interested in (co-)maintain the package, see the thread on the devel mailing list.
Based on your response, I'll mark you to be removed from packager group, feel free to correct me if you want to maintain your membership status.

On May 2021, I took over Fedora’s dmidecode from you. In retrospect, I should have asked to be set as main admin as well thus to avoid triggering this Inactive packager process.
@lichliu has been added to the packager group? Maybe can you set him as main admin?

aarapov is still listed as the maintainer of dmidecode (https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/dmidecode) and he hasn't given up or passed over ownership as requested. Will this happen automatically now that he's a packager or can someone intervene to orphan this package so we can adopt it?

I've submitted a list of users to fedora-infra for removal from the packager group. When the ticket is worked out, those users will be removed from packagers and packages where they're listed as "admin" will be orphaned and can be picked up by co-maintainers (or other interested packagers).
It's been a while and dmidecode still shows aarapov as the maintainer.
Sorry about that, I have been working on higher pri things and just now got to this.
Should be all done now.
