Hello @blivet-maint,
during our periodic check as per the "Inactive packagers policy" we detected no activity from you as a packager, nor in other Fedora community places, like Bodhi or mailing lists.
In order to reduce security risks from possible accounts hijacking we're trying to contact you to know if you're still reachable and if your email set in Fedora Account System (bli**@redhat.com) is still valid.
Please, let us know if you're still intersted in participating in Fedora and if you still need your account to be listed in the packager group.
packager
Without any reply from you, in two months we will proceed to remove your account from the packager group. Your account will still be active.
Hi, this is a group account for our project. We might not need it and I am not sure what's the main reason behind having it (probably to have it as a default assignee in bugzilla). Anyway the email is still valid (it's a mailing list) so please don't remove the account yet. I'll try to find more information and let you know as soon as possible.
@vtrefny understood. I think RelEng's tooling can set a default assignee without an associated FAS account (I know several components have a mailing list as a default, and I don't think all of them have a bot account).
If that's the only reasons, I can work with RelEng to make sure we don't break that. But I'll wait to see if you can find other use cases for keeping this account in the packager group. The cleanup won't happen until after the F38 release in mid-to-late April.
