Tentative +1 from me - biggest concern is how this integrates with anaconda, as anaconda has support for firewall configuration in kickstart.
I was told anaconda is running lokkit if /etc/sysconfig/iptables doesn't exist. If it fails they write to /etc/sysconfig/system-config-firewall.
+1 for firewalld feature
