The provenpackager reseed is stalled somewhere. I think we're waiting on policy to be decided on when to sponsor into packager and when to sponsor into provenpackager.

Those were discussed along with rsc's alternate proposal, probably at the Jan30 or Feb06 meeting (no logs/summaries on the wiki for those). rsc's alternate was voted down. What happened to f13's proposal? And are those sufficient for us to proceed with the re-seed?
I think that this was stalled on another proposal to counter rsc's. In the lack of that, I'm in favor of f13's proposal (simple and effective).
