I'm open to discussing/thinking about this, but I wish the feature page was more neutral. Is the feature being put forth by the entire KDE sig? or just one person?
Does the KDE Sig feel they have the resources to handle the influx of bug reports/questions?

This feature is not endorsed by the kde-sig, it's kkofler's own proof-of-concept.

The history of this feature is that cwickert asked on IRC whether somebody in KDE SIG would be interested in filing such a feature and I decided to go for it.

For the end-user support issue, I don't think it's fair to put all the burden on the KDE SIG alone. The current GNOME default doesn't get end-user support from the Desktop Team either!

The current GNOME default doesn't get end-user support EXCLUSIVELY from the
Desktop Team either!

(I am not trying to imply that the Desktop Team never does user support, but just that nobody expects them to handle ALL the user support for GNOME on Fedora.)
