We have some questions:

• prelink status?

• kernel and glibc. Do they need old linker still?

• This does require a mass rebuild of all 'arched' rpms? Do you know what else may fail?

• How do packages that need the old linker specify it in a non nasty way in their spec files?

• Could this feature land without a mass rebuild if needed? Only rebuilding things as they update?

Please let us know asap on this, as we would like to solve this before the python 2.7 mass rebuild is done.

I'm recommending we hold until Fedora 15. I mis-remembered what tests were performed during the Fedora 13 cycle and thus thought this was further along than it really was. Hopefully between now and Fedora 15 the prelink & ordering stuff will get nailed down and as for large scale testing, I'm doing that now :-)

We will revisit this in the f15 cycle. ;)
