I'd like to request that FESCo clarify the policy on if you are made a sponsor for the packager group if you automatically become a member of the provenpackager group (if you are not one already). I asked nirik on IRC and he said he was not sure if this was changed. The only mention I could find of it was "Also, any user that becomes a sponsor will also be added to the 'provenpackager' group." from https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-devel-announce/2009-March/msg00010.html

Looking at our database, it seems that we do currently add new sponsors also to provenpackager.
So, unless we want to change it, when you become a sponsor you also become a provenpackager (if you aren't already in that group).
I will see about updating docs.
