#340 Determine and approve F11 end of life date
Closed None Opened 14 years ago by kevin.

We need to offically decide when f11 should go end of life.

If we follow our guideline and nothing slips it should be one month after f13 is released, so that would make it:

2010-06-11

Thats a friday. I don't know of any holidays around it.
I propose we set that and adjust it if need be if the release of f13 slips.

This date was approved by fesco at the 2010-02-23 meeting.

GA date for Fedora 13 changed to May 18, 2010.

Need a known EOL date to start on bugzappers housekeeping procedure to send out warning about upcoming EOL for Fedora 11 followed by automatic bug closure at actual EOL.

at the 2010-04-27 meeting we decided to push out the f11 end of life 1 week to match the F13 release.

The new date is:

2010-06-18

Need to revise one more time to reflect slip of Fedora 13 to 2010-05-25. This would make new EOL date for Fedora 11, Friday, 2010-06-25.

We agreed in the 2010-05-25 meeting to move this back to 2010-06-25.

Can you update docs? Or would you like me to change anything?

I updated https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/11/Schedule I'm not aware of anything else that needs to change.
