#3314 Change: Anaconda Installer Using GPT on all architectures by Default
Closed: Accepted a month ago by sgallagh. Opened a month ago by amoloney.

This is a follow-up for the Fedora 37 change which made the Anaconda installer use GPT as the default partition table for x86_64. This change proposes switching to GPT for the other supported architectures (namely ppc64le and s390x) as well.

Owners, do not implement this work until the FESCo vote has explicitly ended.
The Fedora Program Manager will create a tracking bug in Bugzilla for this Change, which is your indication to proceed. See the FESCo ticket policy and the Changes policy for more information.

REMINDER: This ticket is for FESCo members to vote on the proposal. Further discussion should happen in the Discourse discussion linked above. Additional discussion may happen on the Fedora Devel mailing list.

The Change was renamed, so I also moved the wiki page to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Anaconda_Installer_Using_GPT_on_all_architectures_by_Default and will change the title of this ticket.
