fedora-repoquery is a small commandline tool for doing repoqueries of Fedora, EPEL, eln, and Centos Stream package repositories. It wraps dnf repoquery separating the cached repo data under separate repo names for faster cached querying. Repoqueries are frequently used by Fedora developers and users, so a more powerful tool like this is generally useful.
Owners, do not implement this work until the FESCo vote has explicitly ended. The Fedora Program Manager will create a tracking bug in Bugzilla for this Change, which is your indication to proceed. See the FESCo ticket policy and the Changes policy for more information.
REMINDER: This ticket is for FESCo members to vote on the proposal. Further discussion should happen in the devel list thread linked above.
Eh, what's one more? :)
+1
I mean, I guess I'm +1 for this, but it seems a bit unnecessary. I'm not sure why this is a Change rather than just a new package request.
I guess it would be more Change-worthy if the proposal also described updating official Fedora Documentation to describe and recommend its usage, but I don't see that in the scope.
I'm pretty sure this is a Change for the marketing.
Also not sure this needs to be a change, but sure
After a week: APPROVED (+6, 0, 0)
