FWIW, I don't think the updating the Python and Pytest versions at the same time are a reason to postpone Pytest update. This happens in the ecosystem and we need to handle it. It'll probably a bit more hassle, but I don't think we want to not update to the latest major Pytest version when it is released upstream. First because we want to be first and maintain Fedora as the premier developer environment, and second because some upstreams might grow dependency on the latest Pytest version anyway, and then we'd have the opposite problem and possibly be forced to patch in support for older Pytest.
