The council recently approved a modification to the third party software policy, and I'm looking into updating our documentation to match.
It seems that the current policy documentation lives as part of fesco-docs, here. Before I go proposing changes to that page, I wanted to check - is fesco happy to continue hosting this documentation? Since it seems that the workstation is the only edition using the policy, we could take it off your hands, but it's up to you.
I'd prefer to keep it, to minimize the amount of busywork. It gets updated so rarely anyway. Also, it is possible that it might get wider use in the future and then we'd have to move it back, which would be more busywork.
OK, thanks for the clarification! I'll propose some updates based on the council decision.
