additional notes: I took over Fedora Jam maintenance as Brendan Jones failed to respond to any and all communication attempts. Ben Cotton went-ahead and gave me ownership. However, I noticed two components (fedora-jam-backgrounds and fedora-jam-kde-theme) had received no modification since 2013, and fedora-jam-kde-theme in particular was still using KDE Plasma 4 theming and was FTBFS.
If there are no objections, I'd like to take over maintenance of these packages.
This is a ticket for the Fedora's Policy for nonresponsive package maintainers.

Looking at koji / bodhi, there was no activity since October 2019, and no activity between October 2018 and October 2019 ... Maybe we should wait until October 2020 to hear from him? :smile_cat:

I am more than happy for Erich to take over the spin. I will start orphaning most of my packages, many of which receive no activity upstream.

@eeickmeyer it should now be possible to claim fedora-jam-backgrounds and fedora-jam-kde-theme via the left side column at their src.fedoraproject.org page.
Do yo consider this ticket as solved?
I would say that definitely solves the ticket. @bsjones , thanks for orphaning those. I'll likely adopt all of them, but anything that is dead upstream and FTBFS might have to be retired. Thanks. :)
