#2205 Clarification needed: Orphan packages will be retired if they remain orphaned for six weeks
Closed: Accepted 4 years ago by zbyszek. Opened 4 years ago by churchyard.

If a package is orphaned for six weeks, do I retire it from rawhide only or also from branched?

If this is unknown, I suggest the following:

Orphaned packages are retired from master and Fedora branched (until the Beta freeze).

I don't remember if it was ever written down, but we always operated as you propose in the past. So +1

+1. We wouldn't want to keep the orphaned branch for a release if we can avoid it.

+1 to retire in branched too

Should we document this at the policy page?
