#2134 F31 System-Wide Change: Perl 5.30
Closed: Accepted 4 years ago by zbyszek. Opened 4 years ago by bcotton.

A new perl 5.30 version brings a lot of changes done over a year of development. Perl 5.30 was released 5/22/2019. See 5.30.0 perldelta for more details about preparing release.

It would help us to coordinate Perl vs Python side tags if @jplesnik and @ppisar can start building on Monday. Tagging with meeting to make sure we have an answer by Friday.

(But please, vote in the ticket even sooner if you can. Thank you.)

Dropping the meeting tag. This will have crossed 7 days by the meeting time, so it will be approved by policy anyway on that day.

However, if we get another +3, we can approve this quickly, so let's try to do that, yes?

You are right, it will be 7 days before the meeting. Getting another +3 would be great.
