The /usr/bin/gpg path representing the main GPG implementation will now use GnuPG 2 instead of GnuPG 1.
This was discussed during yesterday's FESCo meeting (2018-12-03):
AGREED: GnuPG2 as the default GPG implementation approved (+7, 0, -0) (contyk, 16:17:10)
and announced in yesterday's summary.
