Closed 5 years ago Opened 5 years ago by jkurik.

For the next FESCo meeting to review:
i686 Is For x86-64

This is on the agenda for Friday's FESCo meeting at 15:00UTC in #fedora-meeting on irc.freenode.net, but note that we may not get to it as there is a large agenda and this is the 7th item in line.

Can we wait on this until the change has been clarified and updated. I had asked @fweimer in the discussion thread to update the change to either spell out what i686 hardware code was run on or proposal the removal of all i686 deliverables.

Something has come up, and I'm still reviewing the best way forward. I would appreciate if we could move the discussion to next week's meeting.

I've updated the proposal based on feedback from Jakub Jelinek. Please let me know if you still want to discuss it in today's meeting.

@ausil does the updated text give you the clarification you wanted for discussion today?

@bowlofeggs it is better, I think it could still do with some work, but the disconnect between the text and what has been discussed on list is gone

AGREED: the proposal is approved (+7, 0, -0)
