heliocastro is inactive. This maintainer left Fedora silently some months ago. There is not visible recent contribution. I'm filing this ticket due to official guideline [1]. In particular, LXQt SIG would like to see all lxqt-* prefixed packages to get orphaned if the maintainer is heliocastro. The SIG has too less man-power to actively update all those packages. Bug [2] exists for a long time now with the request to do a general upgrade.

Upstream wrote about lack of active contributions. https://forum.lxqt.org/t/active-developers-needed/228
FYI: I'll take care about the spin for Fedora 28, it builds fine and works as expected. But I also don't have the time to perform the required bigger updates to get LXQt up to date again at Fedora and will most likely leave the SIG after Fedora 28 release (and orphan the few lxqt packages I own, lxqt-build-tools and lxqt-l10n).
A randomly chosen list of affected packages: https://apps.fedoraproject.org/koschei/groups/raphgro/lxqt? Maybe there are more.

The bug does not contain any attempts to reach out to @heliocastro
As stated above, heliocastro has already announced to (officially) leave Fedora and never returned. KDE SIG confirms this decision. Maybe someone can still provide relevant logs from IRC #fedora-kde. For completeness, I'll do another ping in the linked bug.

This was discussed in the FESCo meeting today: AGREED: Wait another week for the heliocastro to respond and orphan packages if there's no reponse (+6, 0, 0)

From my side i already abdicated from doing any Fedora work. I will state again just to be sure that people will understand in the future: I dropped any relation on doing Fedora work because i felt harassed so many times for one specific person, and the only thing that was done was doing a calm down talk, and make blind eye for the matter. This been happening not with me but with several persons during some years, i fed up and say goodbye to this shit, as have my self healthy more important than do a free contribution for a project that simply ignores this kind of things. As i already told for Qt and KDE packaging and help, same as Lxqt. Good luck for the next people that deal with this idiots that been living in the Fedora community.
@heliocastro Thanks a lot for your hard work in Fedora. It is sad to see contributors leaving such a big project as Fedora is. Though, I can't say anything about your general issue within our community and TBH I don't want to get into that personal things. In the hope that you can understand we must follow now the guideline for obviously unmaintained packages, no intend of any personal offending from my side.
Likewise, I was very sorry to read this. I personally take such matters very seriously and hope that we can create an environment where offensive/harassing/inappropriate actions are met with a proper response.
I changed the scope about this ticket to orphan all packages maintained by heliocatro. If you need other packages orphaned, please file a new ticket with an exact list and proper documentation about communication attempts with the maintainer. On your list, there is at list one package that is maintained by @raphgro (nm-tray), therefore it is not really helpful.
All packages where @heliocastro was the main admin are now orphaned or transferred to a co-maintainer. Thank you very much for your service and your fast reply. As per current standard operating procedures you will stay co-maintainer for the packages you co-maintain. If you would like to get this changed, please drop me an e-mail. I hope we will be able to manage the harassing problems. This is something that needs a different discussion or ticket, tehrefore I close this ticket.
