To add yourself as a co-maintainer one needs to log into PackageDB and add oneself to the corresponding package.
Actually https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/WhatHappenedToPkgdb#How_do_I_give_a_user_commit_access_to_a_dist-git_repo.3F contains the current procedure.
(I hope this is the right issue tracker to file it, please let me know if I'm wrong.)
