Since then there have been numerous security vulnerabilities including ImageTragick.

hubbitus did not respond on the devel list.
During that time Kevin stepped up and updated ImageMagick sources in rawhide, and rebuilt affected packages due to the soname bump.
If Kevin is interested in maintaining this package please transfer to him.

Drop packages which are FTBFS in all branches (dead project, not compatible with PHP 7)
I will give a look at other pecl extension (php-pecl-gmagick, php-pecl-imagick and php-pecl-xmldiff) to refresh them if needed (some are FTBFS for other reason)
@remi I have orphaned those 2 packages. You should be able to take them and retire them now.
I have orphaned ImageMagick.

@kevin to take any orphan packages you have to now file a releng ticket because pkgdb is retired.
@kalev it was not possible for me to cc. hubbitus on this new pagure system. the old fesco ticket system had a way to add people to cc.
Just for the record, the devel post had hubbitus on cc., you can examine the mail headers for that.
