I'd like to propose that sssd-kcm is added to the @core comps group. This change, along with enabling the service through a systemd preset (see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1475999 and https://pagure.io/fedora-release/pull-request/111) would enable the KCM: credential cache in Fedora by default.
Switching Fedora to this credential cache type would provide some benefits over keyring, as described in the fedora change page (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/KerberosKCMCache) and the sssd upstream design page (https://docs.pagure.org/SSSD.sssd/design_pages/kcm.html)
I also believe that the dependency creep is not that big, since the @core group already contains sssd-common since Fedora-26.
