There has not been a fedpkg release in at least a year. There are important changes, including https://pagure.io/fedpkg/c/9dea9969f51978271937311af4d6df3e1a814db8?branch=master, that have not made it to the fedpkg Fedora package yet. I have been running fedpkg from the development branch for a while, but it'd be nice to not have to do that anymore.
