It is almost dead and I don't think we should really create those. Probably implementing some policy like "if EOL will happen in < 2 months, do not consider it for requesting automatically".

This sounds interesting, but as far as I know, we do not have a source, where we could find proper dates (GA / EOL). PDC doesn't contain this information. And I even think that GA/EOL is not known enough in advance.
If the situation change, we can reconsider it.
