Hello,
I would like to translate the content of this file: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/langpacks/blob/master/f/org.fedoraproject.LangPacks.xml
I do know how to use po4a to extract the string, but where should open a Pull Request?
Is this place the right place? https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/langpacks I feel like this is the source code for the package.
Please let me know if this isn't the right place to discuss about this. CC @pnemade (I see he do commits on this folder)
@jibecfed Open the Pull Request at https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/langpacks.
hello, I can't connect with my FAS to src.fedoraproject.org error 500... Is there anything special with this website? Even my user page gives a 404: https://src.fedoraproject.org/user/jibecfed
Anyway, I suggest to clone the xml file out of the package, on a dedicated pagure.io project. And every time the package is updated (would it be possible to do this automate this?), get the latest translated file.
On this repo you'll have a folder for pot and one with po. At least two scripts : xml-to-pot.sh (includes a push to zanata) and an po-to-xml.sh At least one configuration file: zanata.xml
xml-to-pot.sh
po-to-xml.sh
What do you think? I suggest to create a project named as the rpm file.
While searching, I also found this one: https://pagure.io/langpacks-install I think I'll open a PR for this one too (I think only the desktop file has to be translated). The automation question also is open.
Maybe @pnemade or @petersen could investigate this one?
The issue is tracked there: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/7685 nothing to do here for now. I'll update this ticket once my PR is opened, for now I chose to give priority to my flock talks, but I'll do it.
I don't think there's anything for the WG to act on here, is there?
