#68 Put all the LibreOffice launchers in an app folder
Closed 5 years ago Opened 5 years ago by aday.

Fedora currently ships with four LibreOffice "apps" - writer, calc, draw, impress. These look a bit dominant in the shell's apps view, due to the fact that they're a big group, and they stand out from all the other launchers.

It would look tidier if the four launchers were put in a LibreOffice folder by default.

I agree this would be nice, but I think this change should be implemented upstream, in GNOME Software. I'd rather not have any downstream customizations for this. I see you recently reported https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/issues/435 against gnome-shell (before it was moved to gnome-software), so could you report this there too, please?

I'm going to close this since I don't think it requires Working Group approval or discussion. I think it would be good to remove Draw from the default install, but that's another issue entirely.
