Especially due to the nature of Silverblue, it may be a good idea to include gnome-shell-chrome by default so extensions work through extensions.gnome.org. @mclasen will survey what support is required on other browsers (e.g. Firefox) and report back here.
The WG can vote on inclusion through this ticket since we have no meeting on 2018-08-13.
@mclasen -- any news here on Shell support for other browsers?
it appears that the 'native connector' (ie gnome-shell-chrom) is needed for firefox as well.
See https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/GnomeShellIntegrationForChrome/Installation
We discussed this in today's Workstation WG meeting and agreed:

Comps PR: https://pagure.io/fedora-comps/pull-request/319
Merged.
Metadata Update from @catanzaro: - Issue close_status updated to: Fixed - Issue status updated to: Closed (was: Open)
Reopening. We should have a Recommends or Supplements somewhere to figure out how to install this during system upgrades.

Does this depend on #138?
Yes, I think it is. Because it's being included in new installations, but not on upgrades (unless someone has done Michael suggested with Recommends/Supplements).

Metadata Update from @chrismurphy: - Issue set to the milestone: Fedora 34
Yes, this issue remains open solely so that we remember it's not installed on upgrades and find a way to fix that.
Metadata Update from @catanzaro: - Issue unmarked as depending on: #138
Having too many open issues is getting messy. This should be fixed soon in #138.
