Hey there Fedora Dev's don't know whether this is right place to post or not.
when updating DE's from one major version to another version or just a feature update and there is a new feature added or an old app is replaced by a new one in such case how does an average user get that feature/update.
Example - 1.Eye Of GNOME(image viewer) was replaced by Loupe in GNOME 45 on Fedora 39 and the users who were on F38 updated to F39 would still have EOG until Loupe is installed from GNOME Software. 2. On Fedora 40 KDE Plasma 6.1 update bring new features one such feature was Remote Desktop "Access Remote Plasma Desktops" for which there is to be a Remote Desktop setting in Setting which was not there , for which user have to install krdc package (if I'm not wrong) to get it working 3. In future when Evince is replaced by Paper, Totem by Showtime, Power-profile-demon by tuneD . How would an average user know how get the new feature/application if not done automatically or and interactive popup message giving information to what to do. Please overlook my English as it's not my main language and I'm also an average user who just use point and click method to navigate around the OS.

We think we've addressed this issue with Fedora 40. Could you please try with F40 to F41 upgrades? The expectation is that Ptyxis will be installed with F41 upgrades.

i did try to update a fresh copy Fedora 40 Workstation to Fedora 41 Workstation on Boxes following (https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/upgrading-fedora-offline/) and Ptyxis was installed there after the update, so i think then this issue could be closed
Excellent.
