Autosnap feature is well integrated in different Linux distributions and is essential to facilitate situations deriving from unpleasant events (especially for those who use the computer for work). I think it can be very useful in Fedora Workstation.
I know that there is F. Silverblue for this, but I do not see why Silverblue's existence must preclude the possibility of having this feature in Workstation.

Optional: if this feature request was considerated, one could discuss how to integrate the restoration of the snapshot by GUI (for example by GNOME Settings).

I doubt we'll enable snapshots by default, but the btrfs team is tracking this here: https://pagure.io/fedora-btrfs/project/issue/18

I'm going to close this as Won't Fix in the "not Workstation Working Group" sense, deferring to btrfs group.
