Fedora Flatpaks apps have this problem where they don't integrate with the desktop:
Granted, I have only tested with GTK applications:

I can't reproduce the sharp corners on calculator or contacts on stable fedora flatpaks. e.g. see calculator: <img alt="Calculator" src="/fedora-workstation/issue/raw/files/52fd84de146cf746d7a42cba2b8b288dd4bd9ec369d0a8f74b03966cdf495380-Screenshot_from_2022-06-01_10-50-00.png" />
The clocks header also looks fine: <img alt="clocks header" src="/fedora-workstation/issue/raw/files/25ebe16eed244f7ff894b23adb402f449ca1a03a9b1aaf09969b44fea908825b-Screenshot_from_2022-06-01_10-52-27.png" />
Do you have some custom theme or something set in gnome tweaks or ~/.config?
~/.config
The gtk apps being outdated and not following the dark style preference is just because the fedora flatpaks still haven't been updated for F36.
Yes I have: adw-gtk3-dark. It was an oversight on my end, I thought Flathub themes worked on Fedora Flatpaks, but turns out they don't. Thanks for pointing it out and I want to apologize.
Right. It would be cool if these apps were ported to F36. Perhaps I could contribute someday.
Since we're talking about custom themes, is it possible to make Fedora Flatpaks compatible with Flathub themes by default? It'll prevent people like me from encountering this issue.
See https://github.com/fedora-silverblue/issue-tracker/issues/273, it seems to be underway.
I doubt it given there is no API for gtk themes in the first place, it just modifies css and hopes the application works. There is no reliable way to know if a theme will work or not.
Alright, thanks a lot for the help!

This issue has been closed, but Fedora Flatpaks are still having quality issues that are not present in Flathub.
