What is Flock?

Flock is the Fedora Project's annual contributor-focused conference. It alternates between European and North American locations. The conference provides a venue for face to face meetings and conversations. It is also a place to celebrate our community.

Because we're so big and distributed, Flock can't be the only place where we get new ideas, but it is a summit where we present, learn about, and discuss them.

Then, we will have a series of 20-minute presentations from each of the Fedora Editions, as well as from the current Fedora Objectives — IoT, CI, and Modularity.

We are accepting proposals as issues in the Flock repository on Pagure. We are doing this so that you can solicit feedback on your proposal, look for collaborators, and figure out who you need in the room and who will be there. Specific instructions are in the Pagure repo.

Proposals are evaluated in three rounds and must be submitted by the beginning of the final round. This allows us to confirm talks for speakers sooner than making everyone wait until then end. This also incentivizes you to submit early :D. Unselected proposals carry forward to the next round.
