When referring to the Linux distribution, I believe it is now preferred to call it "Fedora Linux" instead of "Fedora", to distinguish it from the project. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Fedora_Linux_in_os-release .
For example it should probably say "Fedora Linux 37 released" in the top right corner and it probably should say "Get Fedora Linux" instead of "Get Fedora", as you're not "getting" the Fedora project.
My 2 cents: - for the general public Fedora is the Linux OS, and the CTA "Get Fedora" is correct. - but I do agree with @jonha that more clarity is needed, but I think this should be widely discussed before implemented
No need to discuss, jonha is correct: https://communityblog.fedoraproject.org/fedora-is-a-community-fedora-linux-is-our-os/
@bcotton, what does that mean in practical terms? Shall we identify all the spots where the changes are needed and then push a PR or find the team responsible?
I don't think there's a need to find and excise all occurrences, but when we come across them, we should fix them.
