#151 Download of Silverblue does not default to https
Closed: Invalid by codeblock. Opened by dylanschmittle.

something i noticed when downloading silverblue, is that the download does not go to https unless forced, which is odd, either its set that way on your end or someone is doing a downgrade attack on mine, i was able to use this to force it with wget.
wget --https-only https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/32/Silverblue/x86_64/iso/Fedora-Silverblue-ostree-x86_64-32-1.6.iso

How do you download it ? All links to download Silverblue on this website (getfedora) point to https://

download.fp.o will redirect you to a random mirror close to you. It does try to preserve protocol, but if a mirror redirects you to off to http, there's not much Fedora can do (except contact the mirror admin and ask if they'd consider not doing that).

If this continues to be an issue for you, please file an infrastructure ticket: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issues and include which mirror you are being redirected to, and someone can try to take a look.
