This looks all kinds of suspicious. I can't see any reason at all why it would be arch-specific, for a start. Do you have any more detailed explanation of what's going on here?

Indeed this isn't arch specific, it's just a change in Rawhide on all arches. So I merged something similar that is not ppc64-specific.
